Been awhile

What can I say, it's been a while a my now not so new job has been hell to say the least. The people I work with are great and that aspect of the job is much loved but there is just so much to do and so little time. I seriously wonder how long I can keep this up. I'm exhausted and I long for the holidays... problem is, there isn't holidays like in my previous job anymore. When schools out, I still head in to work 12 or 14 hour days. Sigh... I want a break! Oh to be lying by a luxurious spa villa and soaking up the sun by the pool-side or on the beach... then still having enough time to go another vacation and Oh I do so want to be in the snowy mountains again and shredding, carving and just enjoying the sound of soft powdery snow being crushed under my snowboard.

The wide open spaces of nature I soooo need. Give me the beach or the mountains. Hell I'd be over the moon if I had the time to take a long road trip. Jump into my 4x4 and just drive out of the city, explore the world outside of this built up cage.

Everyone is busy planning their vacations and I'm busy thinking of what I need to plan for next year. Budgets that I can't afford to screw up cos we are dealing with a huge amount of money and too many zeros to leave out accidentally, briefings that I must ensure must be planned well or educators and schools would really be having my head. Sigh. Everyone at work thinks I'm handling great, I'm not one to show panic but I'm also not one to be able to let it just wash over me. I'm in dire need of a vacation and all I can say is. I need a life besides work. But I can't find the time.

Guess it'll be a while before I write again. Hopefully I'll clear everything in the next couple of weeks and I'll write about my holidays. Till then, if you are suffering like me... everyday survived we are a little closer to our dream... and a vacation. Keep smiling and happy trails people.

PPA members... I need a drink. Someone organize it for a change. I haven't the time... call me up and tell me when. I'll be there like a house on fire. Just make sure it's not a week night. Got Work!
